Fascinating farmhouse restoration with beautiful details in Spain

An old farmhouse was restored into a holiday home for antiquarian and interior designer Eduardo Wrinkle, located in the Empord�, an historical region of Catalonia, Spain. The designer has maintained the essence of the old building, adapting it to contemporary standards. He also creates furniture and contemporary objects crafted from old wood and other reclaimed items, which he infused into his holiday home. He preserved as much as he could of the existing structure, combined with designing for present day needs. The designer kept the spirit of the house in the interiors, while adding modern comfort.  Interior furnishings were selected mostly from the designer�s antique store creating an eclectic aesthetic with a quiet elegance.
