This summer house in Comporta, Portugal, belongs to Patrick Perrin, a well-known antique admirer and organizer of important art exhibitions throughout Europe.
The designers of the house, Suduca and Mrillou, gathered up furnishings, largely sourced from local craftsmen, that conjure a relaxed midcentury seaside vibe. Everything is in shades of white and sand, and they used many natural materials such as vintage rattan, elaborate rattan chandeliers, chairs and wicker mirrors, seagrass rugs, rope furniture and accessories.
A wonderful home with a unique balance between the rough and the smooth, simplicity and refinement.
